I lost my sweet husband after 55 years of marriage. He passed away Jan. 2021. I didn't sell any of his boats, cars or anything. I waited 1 year. I still have all his clothes. I am 75 this month. I don't ever want my name to change. I can never find someone that will measure up to him. When we met he could not speak English and I could not speak Spanish, but we knew we were meant for each other. I will never get over him.
Essie? Psalm 34:18 tells us that "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and comforts those who are crushed in spirit". I hope the passage of time has brought some measure of "healing" for you. You are still very young and have such a bright, exciting, and beautiful future to look forward to. I hope that you find some measure of comfort in knowing that you are not alone and have the support of all of us here❤️.

Sandra ~you remind me of someone so dear to me that I had in my life ~she lived to be 102 ~she was so straightforward, pleasant, very balanced. I just loved listening to her and I love listening to you also~ it’s very comforting. I am of a younger age group and I’m going to all the same issues of eating and exercise and loneliness and isolation and things like that. And I have Jesus in me helping me through practically every hour of the day. If you listen to the Holy Spirit listen to God‘s voice very closely about who to trust in your life especially for a spouse he will give that to you ~so ask for discernment and all that and let Him help you through all that.

You are so sweet. I weigh myself every morning too. It keeps me on track. I do intermit fasting. I eat after 12:00 noon and try not to eat after 6:00. I walk 2 hours a day once in the morning and once in the late afternoon. I went from 160 lbs to now 121. Thank you for your videos.

I do exercise, I walk with Otis 3 miles; I think I had mentioned that before and I do my weights three times a week. I don’t deprive myself either and I don’t eat after seven. It makes a huge difference. I don’t have a scale in the house I had an eating issue when I was a teenager into my 20s so the scale will trigger me either way. I just do the best that I can now and that’s all I can do..❌⭕️❌⭕️🐶Otis and me~ Massachusetts

I agree with you with all that you have said. Be kind to yourself, I love that! I'm also a widow and I'm getting to know me now. Plenty of friends and things to do each day, too busy to have a relationship. I've been there and done that!! Loneliness is not in my life, God is with me and I am fine. Thanks for your inspiration!

I think your honesty threw me off a bit. I can’t believe how honest you are about everything. Ive switched from first thinking “Oh Lord this gal has so much to learn”, to I’m done worrying about this woman, lol. You, dear lady are very strong! Before my parents passed, I did have a Hallmark book that had them write their memories down in. My mom was too far gone so she could not contribute, but my dad's sense of humor really shined through. Love to look at that from time to time.

Blood tests……I go every 4 months for that. Which is good because I see Im doing well with everything. You need to check cholesterol and triglycerides, sugar. My faith is what keeps me going. I love my independence too much I guess. Ordered some of the collagen to put in my morning coffee. TY for that info.
Loose skin is a seniors problem, no matter how much I exercised I still had flabby legs and upper arms. I go a vibration plate and use it everyday, sitting down on it and holding on to do my arms. I'm amazed how firm my body is getting. These machines can cost as little as 100 and help with your circulation, increase your metabolisms and help you loose weight. Safer than us seniors walking where we can misstep or get mugged. I follow intermediate fasting and have a 4 hours eating window. I start with fresh vegies with hummus dip, than eat a whole plant meal, and finish with fruit, plain yogurt and walnuts. The more you stop fat, sugar and fatty foods the easier it is.
Sugar is a nutrient -worthless-soluble-carbohydrate that we should all strive to eliminate from our diets. I always feel "tired and weepy" the day after indulging in cake and ice cream. It's best for our overall health to just try and stay away from sugar completely, if possible, I think 🤔. When we feel better? We can ENJOY! our lives more😊.

Remain grateful for the time spent together and say goodbye. Life has much joy to offer while we move on. Thanks for your video.i love your advice on eating because I thought I had to eat when I got up,I would have honey nut Cheerios,,and I couldn’t lose weight,so I quit eating b them,plus I would have a bowl before bed,and I gained,so,I agree ,no eating before bed.i do 10 minutes or more of senior s exercises. I have a nap everyday.I am alone too,and it is a whole new life..take care

Hi.. I have Plan F. It pays for local community center fees and silver sneakers/silver fit fees. I enjoy the classes and several of the other classes offered. I try to eat from 7am to 4:00pm. Sometimes I will eat something after but not everyday.

It’s very important to have a specific blood test done yearly to check B-12 levels. Low B-12 symptoms can be the same as M.S. symptoms. Your doctor has to request the specific blood test. Sometimes it’s an absorption problem so vitamin supplements won’t help, injections would be indicated in that case.

Hi, Sandra. I’m just five years younger than you and I never weigh myself but since I can always tell by certain jeans 👖 that I need to lose weight, I recently stepped on the scale. As usual, I ate too much this winter so a dieting I shall go! I used to count calories and plan for 900 calories a day but this time I have quit all the bad things and am back to lifting 5 lb. dumbbells 💪 20 min. every other day. Muscle burns more fat plus it’s great for all the lifting I do around the yard (hedge trimmers, etc.). 15 more pounds to go but I’m in Europe with my son and granddaughter (12 yrs. old) and we have been doing a lot of walking up and down steep hills to a castle and and around town. Unfortunately everyone is also feeding us. 🤣 You look wonderful and your routine obviously works! The day I turned 70, 10 minutes after midnight we had an earthquake in my town. I wondered what God had in store for me for my 75th and I just realized that is the day we fly home from Europe! The trip is my birthday present from my son and daughter-in-law and I am having a blast. I haven’t checked my emails for over a week and it feels great. 🤣

My doctor has me take fish oil pills/vitamins, not prescription, for my extremely dry eyes. It’s helped! Your doggie is so cute!! Please show your doggie more!😉😂😂
