French dd saturation. Knocks damage down fast but overpens ignore it, at least in bb/dd fights. So with a marceau firing HE you rapidly see damage taper off, but with bb ap it will always overpen and stay consistent.

@@treeherder42 Bourgogne HE hits like a train though. That Marceau would have been wiped off the screen no matter the saturation.

lmao wth??? gamers make mistakes. haven't you heard of woulda, coulda, shoulda?? Marc shoulda done this, shima woulda done that, of course it would be a different game. The key isn't always playing exactly correct, there is indeed luck involved, and sometimes you just capitalize on someone else's mistake.

@@MW-hv1cl Okay, but if I know that Marceau is somewhere close, I probably won't go there with a BB that has half HP and hope that the player is a potato that hits one torpedo instead of going straight to him and just taking him out. Just one more torpedo and he would be dead. So in that case it's a game of luck, not skill. Same with the blindfire at Schliefen...he was just lucky. I also have games where I'm just lucky, but I also don't show it to people with the title "How To Have Battle Impact In A Battleship". More like a headline "How to win when you're lucky"..

@@vitezslavlorenc3479 No, if he hadn't gone for that flank play then he wouldn't have been able to take up a crossfiring position on the Ohio and the Schlieffen. And his team might have even lost harder than they already were. If you were to charge a destroyer there is arguably no battleship better than the Bourgogne - and he took that gamble. Its not about 'luck' - ofcourse there is luck involved. Its about making your luck. He hit that blindfire on Schlieffen is not just because of luck - but also the knowledge and decisiveness to take it (you miss 100% of the shots you don't take). Saying that the enemies make mistake and him getting lucky is just useless and bitter talk. Like the other guy said - everybody makes mistakes, BUT you have to capitalize on these blunders. By the way, PQ has loads of videos where he does live commentary.
