I Can't Get Enough Of Bourgogne 

Got this ship 2 years ago I think. Great ship. Still one of my favorites. I have done the cross map dev strike kills on Des Moines before lol

My favourite ship in the game! Doing the 1.8 million damage mission for Brisbane with her yesterday was a joy. Four 200k+ matches, one of them 286k. I also thought about trying out the AA skills on her. But only once the next free respec comes around. Im using Brisk, Grease the Gears and Consumable Specialist for faster Cooldown for the reload booster instead. Brisk lets you got over 40 kts when unspotted, helps alot with re positioning. And Grease the Gears is amazing in close combat situations and when you turn your ship. Since im using one of the Honore Captains it cuts down the traverse time from 41 to 33 seconds. Huge diference. And the improved Adrenaline Rush speaks for itself. When i try out the AA skills on her i might even drop Consumables Specialist and Emergency Repair Expert. For me the latter is overrated on BBs with 4 base heals. You rarely get to use the 5th. Both Grease the Gears and Brisk are of much more value to me.

I think I have about as many 300k+ Bourgogne games as all my other BBs combined, or close. It's basically a tier 11.

I got the Bourgogne this week, 2 games played and 2x lost but with 186K and 145K. I'll got to learn this ship better and have some more fun

I remember getting this ship as soon as it was possible for regular player. Never ever have had then or later more questions about any ship. It was sooooooo fucking good and still is one of the best battleships in the game.

You can't tell me that that Des Moines isn't a paid actor

I had a free day to play some ships today, it was awful. Just blowout after blowout and somehow always on the other flank from me. I was trying to farm out the potential damage mission so was playing things like kremlin, ohio and keber but none of them seemed to have it today. For my last game I took out my bourgogne and got arms race resulting in a 250k kraken where 90% of that came in the last 5 minutes. Bourge is my feel good ship, never disappointing.

I really enjoy this ship, I was playing in that map with a line of islands in the middle and was fighting a satsuma and a patrie so I decided to go to the other side with the team (from C to A)... while doing that due to the speed of the ship I managed to go dark and noted satsuma was focused on other team mates with guns pointing the other side... so managed to turn back and thanks to the islands sneaked to high broadside like at 5 km lol.......he was full health almost, 1st salvo I did like 80 K and just popped the reloaded booster and sent him back to port... was real funny lol

Finally got this as my second steel ship after Stalingrad. I haven’t had as much success yet compared to my Repub, but I can see the potential this ship has. Rear firing angles are also really good so it helps with keeping at range. My main issue is I find myself far too close for my own good due to the speed of the ship.

I picked up the Bourg as my first steel and the Ohio as my first research ships, pretty sure were both your recommendations. I have more games in other ships, but my highest average is still in these two ships.

Got it a few weeks back. This ship fits my playstyle very very well. Fast speed and fast shooting when you really need it. It may have the lowest hp of all BB’s, but in game it doesen’t tell. Last longer than my 2nd favorite, the mighty Kurfürst. Miss hydro though, but if it had it would be OP I guess. Love it! 🤘

This ship is good, but I have not had any success with it. My aim isn't the best, but combine that with the dispersion and I have just really struggled. At least my clan mates have put in serious work with it in CBs this season.

Bourgogne is my favorite battleship.

yup my first stil was FDR and that made me so mad.. but I managed to get the Bourgogne and fucking insane, best ship in the game for me.

Based on your continued recommendation I literally got this ship two days ago. First match was quite good. Looking forward to more exciting stuff with this ship. The speed is fantastic.

That's the nice thing about AA, the more you take the more the CV's are going to leave you alone.

Had a guy boast about how he carried our team in his bourgogne in ranked with his kraken, but he was like 100 points below me in a DM that took majority of the fire and hiding alone on a flank being pushed by a Thunderer, Mecklenburg and a petro...yea, they ditched me. A DM is strong, but not when it needs ti do the tanking, so the guy boasted and I said congrats if yoy have at least 200k damage, and he was silent, I had 90k, not great, but this guy could not have had more than 120k if he was 100 points above me. Bourg is strong, but bb's need to read the map, really sucks these days.

Unfortunately I had chosen the Incomp...which is not my playstyle. :-/

Absolutly love Bourgogne, i used to play a lot of JB and Alsace back when i didn't had her but now i almost never play those 2, and i'm not a big fan of the handling of République

How do you earn steel (consistently) in this game? Im a fairly new player, teching a few lines and play mostly random battles. Do I need to do ranked?

I got her but didn't play much... I reseted the line just a few weeks before and was playing alsace like crazy so I was... dunno, burned? And I noticed that playing the republique is just harder these days with t11 and stuff, soo much overmatch I didn't find the balance yet of passive/agressive play, sometimes i'm too passive others i'm too agressive... ehh... I guess it's WoWs life right?

Maybe its just my play style, but i find Repub to be better and more fun. the 380's just piss me off, french AP is already weird, loves over-penning

Basically an alsace, with 14% more dpm, bit more accurate shells and a reload booster I think Burgogne is over-rated, was good but has been power-crept St Vincent is the best T10 bb in the game hands down, it's basically a much better Thunderer

"One of the fastest"? Pretty sure it's still the fastest BB in game when fully specced and flagged. Incomp is close but it's just a tad slower.

Please quit calling this ship out if everyone finds out they will nerf it. Your really close to the perfect build lol this is my best ship I was laughed at when I used my steel now three players have it but you have to have a different skill set and always be on the move I never sit

Everyone who owns it raves about this ship so I don't doubt it's good. But on paper it doesn't look like it's anything special. I wonder exactly what makes it so great.

In my opinion, your first steel ship should be Stalingrad. It's all about guns and Stalingrad's 2.65 sigma high velocity shells are awesome. Nothing beats Stalingrad's guns.
