Thank you so much for posting this I have been debating making some trucker hats for a lake trip my family is going on and wasn't sure if I needed to buy that specific heat press thats curved for hats. but this video solves it all. I appropriate this so much. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and kick ass personality w the world!
Is there any coating you can use to ensure nothing peels when using vinyl on a plastic material boot? And how to you make the vinyl stick to another plastic material without melting it? I do use the teflon sheets, just scared to melt brand new boots. You guys are always the masters at all this stuff! Thanks!
If you're scared, don't do it. Buy some similar material items at a thrift store or a garage sale. Practice on those. We press things like this with a lower heat and much shorter presses. Try it a few seconds at a time until it sticks. :-) -TRW Crystal
i have my heat press, but i want yo know what vinyl is best to use, we played a bit with it last night with some vinyl we bought to test out and some vinyl was way to stiff and it cracked a bit, and another vinyl was awsome but the backing stayed stuck on the transfer and it did not pell well at all, i did love that we could stretch one of our test vinyls on the shirt, it was amazing, but not sure why it did not peel off to well what is the temperature to transfer vinyl, and what vinyl is best quality, also what hrat transfer paper is best, thank you
Hey Ana, We use EasyWeed from Siser, we haven't experienced any cracking or anything from it. Now, if you're trying to put it on a very stretchy material, Siser provides EasyWeed Stretch, which you can find in our store as well. This material stretches so far, that I have literally stretched a small 5 in piece, from fingertip to fingertip with outstretched arms. And the Stretch did not crack. So, it's pretty good. :) TRW Nick

Using HTV rather than sign vinyl in this case would give your creation a much longer lifespan. Lifespan would depend on how often they are used, and how often they need to be washed - I would say you could at least get 1-2 years out of these! - TRW Haley
Hi. I just saw this video now. I was just wondering what that covering is on the upper platen? Does it help in preventing the rectangular heat press edge marks from appearing on a shirt? That's been a problem of mine. Thanks!
He is using an upper platen protective cover sheet! It would probably help with those burning marks that you have been having problems with. Here is the link for it! www.therhinestoneworld.com/protective-cover-sheet-upper-platen -TRW Mireya
Jennifer, we don't have the name of the portable cutter, but the Silhouette CAMEO is comparable! It's a 12 inch cuttter with great software and lots of tutorials. ;) - TRW Lisa

AWESOME🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Great Ideal for the gloves but I so wished I knew or watched this video before Christmas? Cause I just bought 2 pairs of receiving gloves from UA (Under Armour) and 2 pairs of Wilson Receiving gloves! The Season is over for Cleats but when I do everyone’s tees for the upcoming Football Season, I will keep this in mind and offer this plus even if they was a Named Brand Shoes Like Under Armour u can always put their numbers on their shoes if it fits and even their names if you have room? Also What is heat tape? Never heard that before? But I’m new with the cutting machine, I’ve did the shirts and stuff with using heat but I didn’t need heat tape? Transfer isn’t the same either? Just wanna make sure? Also 1 more question? (I’m sorry) Was them real Nike’s or did you get them plain and custom them as Nike’s? Also Where did you get them plain black gloves at? I’d like to buy some in bulk if I could? And Would Be gladly to purchase some more plain customizable also if I could? Get great quality? We won our Championship also, so we could custom that also on them instead of team? Thanks for sharing the video and thanks for also sharing something my Boys would love and others kids as well will have a happy face on!!!! I bought my sons some dry-fit tanks and a Thermo to keep cold for his practice water bottle and I customized them all for Christmas and they both loved them even though my youngest hates and I mean hates tanks period! Lol
Hello, Yes, You can use small pieces of vinyl for numbers and or name on the shoes. Heat tape is tape that can withstand the hot temperatures while we press. The heat tape helps the design stay on the non-flat shoes and gloves. Usually shirts don't need heat tape if the design is simple and doesn't peel up. I'm not sure what brand the shoes are, but you can customize any brand of cleats you want to. The application process will be the same no matter the brand. You can purchase the gloves at any sporting outlet store, Walmart, or Target. TRW, Grant
We cut these transfers out with a vinyl cutter! This is heat transfer vinyl. :) www.therhinestoneworld.com/Main-Category/Heat-Applied-Materials/Subcategory-1/Siser-Heat-Transfer-Vinyl TRW Alexis
Hi +Buddy Smith, The tiny transfer tape that we used in this video is not a product that we carry, but we are hoping to in the future. For now, you may want to trim the transfer to the size of the vinyl. Jenny@TRW

Arpan Jain We had them cut with one of our vinyl cutters that you can find at the following link:: therhinestoneworld.com/store/#!/Vinyl-Cutters-Plotters/c/6796059/offset=0&sort=normal Once they are cut, you weed away the part that you do not need, and pick up what you do with the transparent tape. :) Hope this helps! +Im Fuse we have never done soccer cleats but I am sure the process would be exactly the same. The most important variable to pay attention to is the material you are pressing to. If it is a different material than this, you are going to want to do a test first. Hope @ TRW
+therhinestoneworld How long did those print hold up on the gloves and shoes ? If it did for long, it would be amazing to buy the machines ! How much is the cost ?
The print held up great! These are a link to our heat presses: therhinestoneworld.com/store/#!/Heat-Presses/c/4690553/offset=0&sort=normal I hope that helps! - TRW Richard.
+cexo123 Hello, we do not have a store on Ebay. You are more than welcome to check our store for all of our products: www.therhinestoneworld.com. TRW Erika
+Thomas Marquezz (Evolvin Vision Over Rhyme) Hey Thomas, you definitely can. Especially if you're using a normal heat press, not a cap press :). TRW Erika
Hey Shelby! That is called Bling NE Thing material. It is a decal material that allows you to heat press rhinestones to it, so you can have rhinestone decals! :) You can find it on our website at the following link. therhinestoneworld.com/store/#!/Bling-N-E-Thing-Products/c/12802426/offset=0&sort=normal TRW Nick
Shelby, Bling N-E Thing is purely for the decoration of our heat press, and to demonstrate one of the many applications of Rhinestone Decals. TRW Casey
