10 minutes is definitely a real emergency - it's twice as long as what doctors say is a medical emergency

interesting. a girl called tilly at my school has seizures.

If the seizure lasts longer than 5 minutes you need to call for an ambulance. We also recommend you call an ambulance if one seizure follows another without the person recovering in between or if they are badly injured during the seizure.

@@danielledewitt1 it is mentioned during a tonic clonic seizure the person will cry or make some unusual sounds or growl.

@@iamdee3034 We are unconscious when we have them. So we can’t cry. There will be some noise as our breatheing goes a bit funny.

@@danielledewitt1 I understand your point, but when my sister has this she makes some scary noises for a few secs and this has happened for her only during sleep.
