She is a very pretty cat. Thanks for the video as this was much more informative with the rough start in the first kitten delivery, I haven’t seen a video yet where this type of involvement was needed. So I appreciate this video very much. My cat is in beginning of labor phase currently. I’m of course watching more videos since this is her and mine first litter of kittens so we are both newbies. I think I’m more nervous then she is. She just wanted me with her and made sure she called to me and led me to the nesting box we had set up for her a couple weeks prior. I was so proud and honored that she wants momma and not daddy with her and that she led me right to the nesting box where I had shown her to go when the time came. My husband couldn’t believe she went to the spot as he heard cats will usually hide to give labor. I knew my baby would want her momma with her. She is purring as I sit with her and she seems to be ready to go. I’m the nervous one. Lol. I think she is having a big litter as she has a very large belly even for a pregnant cat.

How to help your pregnant cat give birth: Leave it ALONE. She knows more instinctually than you ever will. And, no, it's not the same for them as it is for humans.

You should have left the Queen to do the work. Human interference can possibly be horrible. ❤

My pro rosie 4th litter. 6 beautiful kittens. Leave them alone. They know what to do. You will be surprised. First time cats... Watch but do not interfere. Observe with an open mind. ❤

Too much human interferance slows down the entire birthing process, plus they do better in a more private area.
