Watching as my baby girl is going through it. She yelled very loudly for the first one. I had just got back from the store. Her sister came in. I tried to get her to come to her box. My boyfriend kept telling me to leave her alone. She went to our hall closet and her sister was with her as she started howling and we have hard ceramic floors. She was running everywhere. We got that first one cleaned up. She’s fast panting and laying with the first one. I’m laying in front on the closet with her. She was very scared she finally later down on her side and when I touch her it seems the process starts to move along a little. I’m watching the fast panting it was scaring me. When she interacts with my other cats everyone hisses...I figure she smells different to them and she is being protective...and mad at the father because he still chases her. 😂

Delivering cat cannot go to many different places. It is not normal. At least one week before delivery - but better two - she is already confined in her kittening place - spacious cage, pen with zippers - whatever. She also cannot “steal” other kittens, because she does not have access to them. And they are also safe in their pen with mom. She should not be exposed to the stress to look for the place in last minute or not to find any.
