Love your advice. I had to step away from home to bring in income but can't wait to be back in my element: at home with my children, homeschooling them and doing all the amazing things you speak about.
Always so lovely to gain insight from you sister. This was a wonderful reminder. I do have to bring back my creative mind for my 4 and 2 year olds. I would really like some tips on activities for my 6 yr old son. He is maturing and although he loves crafts still and reading. I feel like I should be doing more to mentally stimulate him, (my interaction involved). I will do more on role models too, and ideas on books or resources would be lovely. I do not homeschool, just aid where I can (no pressure) I appreciate it.
Perhaps you could follow his interests and read around those subjects together. Perhaps do some simple lapbooks or art projects about them. Boys that age often enjoy outdoor crafts/creative activities too like building dens, woodwork, contsructing dams in streams, or just exploring and collecting things they find. You could also introduce him to more organised art classes like learning how to watercolour paint or perhaps do pottery.
Alhamdulillah, I have finally got a guide on homeschooling from a muslimah. Thanks for the motivation. I am new to your channel looking for a guide for my son who is 8 and struggling with reading. I need something I can do with him at home. Greetings from Nigeria.
amazing tips. you are so inspirational MashAllah. When our kids turn into teenagers, and misbehave, we always wonder where did I go wrong? Early disciplining and working hard with them will reap fruit that would bring so much peace to the parent's mind.
Great tips , I just started to homeschool my 2 boys, my 3 yr old is eager to learn Mashallah as he wants to do what his 5 yr old brother is doing, so I started him on letters already

Hi ive been subbed to you for a while now. I would love to see raw footage of teaching. My son is 21 months old and i have started a few montessori play with him and going along with a learning folder. Yoi have some great tips. Keep it up. (Early years worker)
Hi Anne. Thanks for your comment and you ongoing support. There is a little bit of "raw footage" of teaching in the first DITL I did. But I agree with you, it probably would be helpful to show a bit more of that. I'll give it some thought. All the best - Gemma
Salaamoe alaykoem, what a wonderful video Allahoema barek. I have a 5 year old, a 2 year old and a 1 year old. Can you give any tips on how to deal with my younger kids when I want to educate my 5 year old? Unfortunately they don't nap at the same time. When I try to involve them, it results in me having to give more attention to them. Right now I give them screen time so I can have some quality time with my 5 year old.
I have question I live in India. I would love to do home schooling. But there one problem that is it possible that if we do homeschooling after they would our child can get admission in university or college
Salaam Maryam. We are fortunate to live in a city with a lot going on, and so there are plenty of opportunities for my children to meet and play with children of all backgrounds. I do keep an eye on EYFS, but do not follow it strictly.
