Man you are a genius!!! Went thru so many hassles with different shops and nobody could figure it out even blew my factory amp. Did what you said after replacement of factory amp and woooooo!! Sounds great, that's how u do it!! thanks again.
This dude official ma G ... I went to everybody did hrs of research as simple as you would think the problem was nobody had the answer . I took it to These guys and they the best in the city 💯💯💯
Woooow thank you! Damn I had a actual shop install my subs with a line out converter and it has sounded like crap since! I tried what you showed in the video and WOW!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!!
@@validsupreme1703 nah man. i still definitely recommend following this video because the shop i went to ripped me off saying to come back and pay more to have them do it right, when in reality all they were going to do is exactly what he did in this video
@@GemCity_Exotics yeah it definitely should work. and my car has a fuse box under the back seats so i just wrapped the remote wire around a fuse that only turns on when the radio is on (for me it was the fuse labeled ‘rdio’, short for radio. so i took that fuse out, wrapped the remote wire around one prong, and stuck the fuse back in.( i know that’s probably not the most professional way to do it LOL) but if it’s ghetto and it works, it’s not ghetto LOL! that’s how i’ve always wire remote wires though and i haven’t burned a car down yet so 😂😂
Wow 🤩 BEAUTIFUL TRICK seriously impressive. I have 2006 STS-V w/Bose will this work with it? I have a very small bit of stereo experience! I have taken my car to a few DIFFERENT shops none could give me a answer complete answer some telling me to buy a LC1 I think it’s called, it’s for the Bose too Aftermarket amp sub/system… But I had no idea about this Mind blown!! GREAT JOB will this amazing trick work? Also I was attempting to find a way for My son to watch his Disney DVDS on trips other than buying stupid lock pick, do you happen to know how or and what wire needs to be fixed so while in motion there is no issues. Can I manually bypass this?
Yooo i just had this issue with my CTS!! My system doesn't sound like it should n i know cuz i had the system in my other car!! I was blaming the factory radio but I'm about to take the RCA converter off to see the difference!!!
Okay I got the RCA wiring part & connect them to the factory sub wire? Do I leave the factory sub connected? Also I wire the amp the same correct? But where do I run the blue remote wire to?
So I should do this if I don’t want to use the loc. I just cut the rca on the other end and tap it into the 2 back speakers in the back then connect it to the amp
Is the wire that you hooked into just a signal wire or an amplified signal wire? If it s just a signal wire then what you did is ok. If it’s an amplified signal then that’s NOT OK. You are not suppose to feed an amp with power. That’s why you need the line level module. To kill the amplification and feed just the signal.
@@khmerohio U lost me at the end I'm running 2 12's in an pre-loaded enclosure from Kicker 4-ohm so where do I connect/tie in the subwoofer wires to get them to play I'm not using factory amp nor factory subs I by-passed all of that you confused me with the rca plugs thingamuJig I got lost?
@@khmerohio I see you have rca plugs plugged into the amp but u confused me with second set of rca plugs when disconnected them then reconnected them i'm not using any hi/lo converter at all it blocks the signals. Help help
ok so I did this and I hooked the pos/neg up to the existing subwoofer and it gives a lot of feedback while the vehicle is off. Making the sub boom. It seems as though it cuts out at high volume as well. Could this be because of the RCA or is it likely due to the pos/neg being hooked to the subwoofer terminals?
@@khmerohio we checked the sub and amp in another car. both worked fine. I know it's in my wiring or sum. I was using a scosch LLC and my sub shifted and pulled one of the wires and it's never been the same. It hit hard, hard before that.
Factory radio/ hook the remote to Ignition fuse that the side that doesn't have power when key is turned to on or ignition. This will prevent it from damaging your car if you have a electric al short on that Blue remote wire
@@codyl4481 alright thx and one last thing. He didn’t respond to me about this so I’d ask you. Does it matter how you put the fuses in for the blue remote turn on. Because I bought a add a circuit in auto zone and idk if it matters on how you put the fuse.
I have no idea what you did bro. You cut the rca but theres 4 cables inside , which of them do i connect to the possitive and which ones to the ground, also what cables did you connect them to under the seat ? Thanks if you reply.
Well every RCA jack color is different so there are 2 wires on every jack the one that goes to the middle is a positive side the other one is negative. So what o did was that I from the + side of one jack connected it to the other positive side and the other her two is negative to the negative of the wire that I mentioned under the seat
@@khmerohio Hey bro can you help me again ? I found more than 1 blue and white cables and also more than 1 black and green cable under the seat. Which ones do i use ?
On models with amplifier, the sub wires are dk.blue/white-lt.green/black at the Amplifier in left side of trunk, gray 8 pin plug X1, pins 7 and 3 (w/out surround), or 5 and 6 (with surround).
This is confusing b/c he doesn't specify do plug Rca plugs in the back of your radio or what ever unit you are running he just shows rca plugs from the rear I the rca plugs go from the trunk to the back seat I'm guessing 🤷🏾♂🤷🏾♂
