The flathead has to be very long for this to work, which is not feasible for a lot of people. For these cases, get a pair of chopsticks (steel or hardwood) and tension against the said white lever while push the cushion.

This is really BS. I have been trying all day to remove the seat to adjust the cylinder but no luck. I am just going to return the chair all together since I am within the 30 day window. Please make it easier to remove the seat for future versions.
