Great vid. what's the difference between the two modes of importing videos? (one is just import and the other is creating a new track) - didn't quite get that.
Hi there! Knowing how to work/create a new video track and the options that come up when this is available can be helpful if you already have video on a main video track, you can add to a location on the main track there or to a new track.... otherwise, there is no real difference, in fact it adds an additional step you may not need. It is much the same as importing audio and the choices you have for that in Pro Tools - it's really just a different way of working. the point being there is plenty of choice.
When I import the video there's no audio, it asks to import and then gives me a menu asking from which destination folder I'd like to import audio from, but there's none, the video has audio on it but when importing it I keep getting this message and end up with no audio on my video
