For anyone else struggling with finding the import button, I couldn't either. But go to your DNG files, save them to your photos app, then import the saved DNG files from photos into lightroom and go about creating the preset from there. That worked for me for all of my presets. Hope this helps someone out
3:11 Thank you! Things have changed recently and I didn’t know I needed to look for the presets icon to find it. It’s not even labeled presets for me like it is in this video. Now I can start using my custom presets ❤
I’m so so confused. I bought the Jake Olsen preset collection and I have no clue how to import them to my Lightroom. I tried but it didn’t work. Idk what I’m doing wrong
I just watched this video for Olsen presets too! So my screen looked a little different than his. Assuming you’ve downloaded the dng files and then created the presets as instructed, next on the right side of the screen the top tab is edit, one down from that tab is the preset tab that looks like two circles inside of each other. Click on that then scroll over to “yours”. Hope this helps!
Well, quick question. Is there any way to save all the presets (dng files) same time like a creating presets ? For example I have 400 dng files but so hard to follow same procedures for 400 each.
@@asbjrnwinther5909I might have to do this as well as I have so many to get through, I use a MacBook though. I’m logged in using adobe on my app so is that what I do on the MacBook as well?
This is absolutely not working. My preset that I made initially in LrC transferred to mobile.. then when I was mainly using mobile my desktop completely wiped every single grain of data I had.. sooo when I downloaded LrC again, all of my presets that I made were wiped. For whatever ridiculous reason, the creative cloud didn't automatically integrate into LrC when I redownloaded it.. and this stupid mobile "share a dng photo with your preset" on it, isn't working at all. I've done this method years ago on the mobile app and that works fine but with LrC the preset looks absolutely NOTHING like the one I made years ago. What a pain in the ass.... This is such an unnecessary struggle..
How do I transfer my XMP file into DNG files? I have got some lightroom XMP preset that I really like and would like to use these presets on my lightroom mobile as well. But having a lot of trouble. can you help?
I got the presets downloaded, extracted to my internal storage but I can't open them in the adobe lightroom app. When I open the app, only 3 options show on the bottom- Gallery, Lightroom, Community. Someone please help!!
I was able to find the Add Image icon next to the camera but when I click that it takes me directly into Photos on Device (photo album) instead of showing me Files and other options :(
Thanks, very helpfull, but jeez, what a hassle... Lightroom mobile doesn't even automaticly cope the name of the imported presets? Who has time for this!?
I had this problem as well. I figured I have a different version than his -my bottom icons are Device, Lightroom, and Discover (not sure if you have that too) BUT if you do, you would actually need to purchase the premium subscription in order for the "add image" icon to pop up next to the camera icon (You can find this in the Lightroom menu). From then on, you could just follow his steps on how to upload DNG and save it as a preset. I hope this helps!! (:
@BrendanWilliamsTutorials I'm struggling to upload presets since the last Android update. I don't know how to select the whole group of presets, it only lets you select one.
