This is a very good tutorial;just saying for number 2 , you shouldnt always go fast . Going slow and having a quick burst of pace of speed will make the defender baffled
If your not good at dribbling but have pace, try and go to the defender close enough that they will strike you. Time this and dribble left or right (tap the ball) and just run.
I just run towards the defender and when they take their foot out,I just simply do a la croqueta or simple body feint at the end and accelerate away to any side😅
It’s not about powering through, but dribbling at someone at full speed vs going slow. Too many players make it too easy for defenders to win the ball when they slow down. As a defender myself, the hardest thing is when a player is driving towards me at fast pace. It’s hard to catch up when they are sprinting at a top speed and I have to react to that speed. If you saw the recent Madrid vs Liverpool game, Modric made a run from his half all the way to the other side of the field and none of the players could take the ball off him because the pace he was dribbling at was too fast for the players to catch up and react. He didn’t do anything but dribble with pace.
