This will probably be one of the last uploads for the next month or so, since I'm gonna take time out of my life to enjoy the summer (basically the "just slightly less rain than usual" season) Also I forgor to mention that you have to save the level in order for the settings to persist.
Where do I find this in the new editor? I found the Sunsky file in the world editor but when I click on it on the scene tree it doesn't do anything Edit: nvm I figured it out
@@tomassin3049 you need have the inspector thing and the scene tree open at the same time. When you click on the file in scene tree the details will show up in the inspector.
18 : 02 and 18 : 11 are good times to set for realistic night time darkness, some maps when set that way makes the whole map very dark, makes it realistic for night time crashes.
You can turn the up “chrominess” of the car paint… without doing so drastic changes also. Cause it seems that most 2000’ish Beamng cars all have a plastic paint feeling with limited reflectivity…
Yes! I've seen you do it some episodes ago (or in comments idk) and i'm now doing it in every map I can. The maps feel kinda dead on 1.0 brightness setting. especially on pbr utah etc. Can't believe they don't increase it by default
On the basis that the devs know better than me, I'm gonna wait until the next update to see what's coming. Who knows, maybe they will update it even better than I have.
Dude, you are an absolute legend! I have about 600 hrs on this game and always played with default settings. And the graphics just got very dull, but this changed everything! Thank you so much!
Rayleigh scattering refers to the scattering of light off of the molecules of the air, and can be extended to scattering from particles up to about a tenth of the wavelength of the light. It is Rayleigh scattering off the molecules of the air which gives us the blue sky. copied from google
The first thing I do when I boot up the game is set the time to where the sun is coming more from the side The game looks so much better than when it's coming straight down I definetely need to try the tricks shown in the video as well
One question So that configuration only saves in that map or in every map and if you have to do all that everytime you open the game or It saves and you dont have to do It everytime you open it
probably not important for them. they're probably have things they see is more important, but i have read that once VulkanAPI or something like that is finished we can expect to see graphic improvements
I’m new to this game. What are the best mods and courses to download? And what are the best and only places you should download these mods from? Thanks.
The official website is the best place to download mods, here's a link: www.beamng.com/game/ You can also go and ask some people in the official BeamNG Discord server, here's a link to that: discord.com/invite/YKcSWAy Hope this helps, and I want you to know that this game is the most underrated game ever. You will definitely enjoy it with the right people to help you.
It will literally have no impact, thats the best thing about it. Because youre only changing lighting parameters, its nothing like installing shaders or other graphics mods.
@@Lopaaz It doesn't matter what computer you have, it will have no impact at all. Seriously. If you can run BeamNG, then you can run these graphics. Its that simple.
@@SourDisc oh i dont mean copying you i mean like taking the brightness info in my visual mod but if you insist then ok also its already released its just on a patreon for £3.50 because its not finished
How do you get all those editing options up? When I search up sunsky the option is there, but the menu on the right with all the values does not come up for me even if I press on sunsky.
You just save the level, I've had like 10 people come to me and say this so I probably should have mentioned in the video. I'll put it in the pinned comment real quick
is it just me but my world editor is really different compared to this, there is no search bar or anything just a tool bar and I've clicked everything and tried everything but I cannot seem to find the options for the sky
You should get a decent mic, your videos will be improved 10x. I recommend a £50 USB condenser, most of them sound great. (Specifically something like the fifine k669b, or the SUDOTACK ST-800 are the two best value options)
I have a proffesional mic belonging to my dad, but its a pain to set up as I need a mixer and some 3 pin cables just to get it to work right, I will probably invest in a proper mic, but crappy mic quality is my definition of hilarious lol
@@SourDisc If you want to go that route then you can get a cheap audio interface with an XLR port which will sound super professional, something like the Behringer UMC22 or the Focusrite Scarlett solo
@@SourDisc wow thats awsome, i was a bit sad about the beamng drive graph but in gonna try it. Very understable video keep making videos like this ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ
Just try going to "window" and opening each window until you get the menu opening on the right side. You probably just closed it by accident at one time.
you dont have to put it all the way up to 5, i was just demonstrating how the brightness affects the looks. id suggest that if 5 is too much, then go for something like 2 or 3
you can save them, just go to file and then save. i have mentioned this about 10 times to other commenters, i just expected it to be obvious that you had to save it lol
@@SourDisc I have the brain capacity of a mosquito, so this did not render with me. Thank you for letting me know about this I’m a very happy camper and I wanna kiss you for making my game look better
Coo and all but with the terrible aliasing and awful shadow pop in this game is visually stuck in time. The physics are mental but graphics are lacklustre.
