In this video I show how you can improve the Blower graphics card for your pc on the example of a video card from nvidia GTX 1080. Dell gpu blower #diy #gold #pc #bild #howto #gpu # Blower
The comedy value of this video is as golden as that shroud. One thing to note though, You need to raise the freq graph up with a positive offset and then cap the max voltage. By pulling graph down you're actually overvolting the freq below your cap, as seen by the lower portion of the curve against the stock curve
I bought a 1080 Ti blower card and replaced the fan with a Raijintek Morpheus II cooler solution. Works great and keeps the card very cool - probably 20C cooler than the single fan.
The price IS absurd man, people Who get blower gpus are not usually with the money to choose the best options... I have to find something affordable to cool my 2080ti without that ridiculously loud noise
@@funkiEst i believe it is possible, theoretically. With blower style cards, the problem it has is the fact that it is basically a chamber trapping heat for the card since the idea is the blower fan sucks in the air and push cool air out to the back of the card. this is done with the closed chamber design that routes the air that way. this makes it hard for the heat to escape from the card and for cool air to come in from anywhere else. How do we mitigate this? according to the video, the heatsink is already there... so just pull the cover up. stuck in a noctua or third party fan, rig everything up somehow, connect the fans together to the gpu fan port, and voila. no raijintek or arctic additional cooler required... theoretically.
Man, I can’t tell you how much I hate it when I’m working on something, and I have everything I need to take it apart and 1 singular screw strips causing me to have to fight it till it comes out. What I use to get stripped screws out is either the next size higher, a triangle bit or flat head, torx screw bits may also work for getting stripped screws out also if you don’t want to saw it out. Good video :)
That was the worst way to undervolt, but it gave the same result You can shift drag the area after your wanted point to select all the other point, then shift double enter to align everything
Dell gets them from MSI for their XPS and Alienware computers. The Alienware ones have a backplate while the XPS ones do not. As far as I can tell it doesn't really matter much.
You could just put there Arctic Accelero Extreme :D Just arrived some used 2080 Ti to me and guy sent me that Arctic cooler too. But after undervolting and some playing in Afterburner the temps are max 85 on hotspot with blower, so no use for Acellero yet.
Haha It was looking perfect becore polishing It but i felt so identified with that kind of mistskes... I ve just got a blower 2080ti and i can't fucking believe the noise, i've only tweaked the fan speed in my previous gpus and i've always made the fan to spin at full speed when reached 70° and i never had more than 73° when long rendering periods (i dont use It for games) but now It Will exceed 80° in this intense processing periods... Well i've just tried the gpu for the first time, tomorrow i will explore It better...
Holy.. u bought the worst custom design for a way to high price. Last year at the same time u could buy an GTX 1080 with good custom design on craigslist for 100 bucks. And instead of doing some usefull mods like a coppermod, heatsink / backplate mod and adding liquid metal, u decided to simply give it an ugly paintjob. Why are ukrainians like that? But i have to give big props to ur video work. The quality is insanely good. But i hoped for a non-nonsense upgrade build. But this is just useless. i left a sub anyways in hopes to see the same quality but with nice builds
If you guys are looking for a good teardown video go watch the video above this one when you do the search. This one is absolutely stupid and very amateur. Other guy knows what hes doing
