A FilmDoo DooDiversity webinar with guest speaker Kate Jackson.
If you're like many managers, you're probably working with people from different cultures. Maybe, you're working with other countries; connecting with colleagues, clients, suppliers, or vendors. Or maybe now, you're leading a virtual global team.
In today's global economy managing across cultures is important. And if you're like most people, it might not be one of your strongest skills. In fact, we surveyed business leaders who rated their managerial skills, and guess what? The skills with the lowest ratings were those related to cultural agility.
Managing globally isn't easy, but it is a critical skill and one that will help you advance your career. This is why we would like to invite you to our special webinar “How to improve your cultural agility and mitigate conflict across cultures”, run by renowned corporate trainer and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion expert: Kate Jackson.
We will overview the basis for cultural agility and share practical tips to improve and enlarge your skillset in the area, with a particular focus towards conflict-solving.

WHO ARE WE?
DooDiversity, powered by FilmDoo, actually started out as a global online film streaming platform, helping people find and watch feature films and shorts from all over the World covering 83 countries and 35 languages.
We have spent the past 2 years developing software that works on top of video and film content to create interactive courses that can be used by businesses, schools and teachers.
In 2019, we had discussions and pilots with large corporations such as the BBC and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London and the government-funded Language Flagship Program that provides language programs to universities across the United States.
Since the pandemic, we have been working hard to help schools and teachers here in the UK maintain student progress both in-school and remotely, using our interactive video tool. We have also been working closely with international companies, providing bespoke Diversity & Inclusion packages for their ongoing employee training, making a better working environment for everyone.
Our software enables instructors, coaches, teachers and, in fact any educators to turn any film or video into fun, interactive learning content. By using visual media as the basis for multiple-choice games, quizzes and tests - personalised to suit the learner’s needs - we allow the learner to engage with the lesson in a way that connects with their interests and feels like a natural extension of their typical media viewing habits. In short, it makes learning fun!
Enjoy the event.
