How to inflate tires on a 2018 Mazda3 using a tire pump plugged into your 12v accessory socket.
With the winter coming and temperatures dropping in Michigan, the volume of air in your tires is going to drop, which means you need to add more air to maintain the proper pressure recommended by the OEM. In this video I find my tires dropped down to 22 - 23 PSI, which is much lower than the recommended 36 PSI for this vehicle. After inflating all four tires to 36 PSI in this video, I'll consider lowering the pressure to somewhere between 32 - 34 PSI after I check the ride on some roads and the expressway. I want a balance of fuel economy (improved with higher PSI) and ride comfort (improved with lower PSI). The roads in Southeastern Michigan are also notoriously bad (potholes) in winter, so this will also lean me further to the softer PSI side.
