Best thing to do is get a oil sample you can get a kit from cat or Polaris labs it takes about a couple of days to check it.It tells you everything about that engine.If the dealership won’t let you don’t buy it

Over filling the oil doesn’t give it more oil pressure but I’d be smelling it for diesel or coolant

If it's overdilled walk away? All rhe shops i did oil changes at in 8 years of trucking they ALL overfill the oil because they don't want the costumer to think that they try to cheat him. I specifically have to tell them not to pass half because i don't wanna blow a seal on a 1400 000 miles volvo d13 that dosen't burn any oil and it's easier for me to add oil than to drain some

Otw to look at 2 Freightliners 2016 and 2018 …..should I buy a 2016? Is that too old??

I considered going to ots it's kinda close to NY where i am..People have to realize they are not selling them as perfect condition lol..I only haven't gone there bc of the outrageous increase in cost..also want a pre emissions truck..keep on truckin bro!
