I tried pinning a post awhile back and its not here but DON'T GET THE ADJUSTABLE CAMBER ARMS THEY KEEP GIVING POSITIVE CAMBER FOR ME AND EVERYONE ELSE, I ENDED UP NOT GETTING THEM AND MY ALINMENT WAS FINE WITHOUT THEM.
Excuse me, but each one with his own. It bothers me that people who want to help other people, so that life is more pleasant by demonstrating what they do to save money with these videos, a person comes who does not make any kind of auto mechanic videos and those not know nothing about it, dares to comment on things out of place. You dedicate yourself to musical instruments and music and let others show their skills without criticizing. We are going to see the videos of what skills you have in addition to the instruments and the music. Texas Honda Channel, I congratulate you for showing videos of how to make modifications to the Honda Pilot. Keep doing them. The People who have these cars we thank you. Ignore critics who do not contribute anything to help others.
End of the video is most important I’m glad I watch to the end! And you said :God bless! Thanks for that! God bless to you too and your family ! This car better and better! 👍 good job
Looks nice!! I have a 2007 honda pilot ex-l 4wd same motor you have in yours. I'm wanting to do a lift as well glad you made a video and put the links in the description. Awesome ride man.
Before I work on a car, especially the suspension components, I pressure wash or go through spray wash. Man, it makes the job way more pleasant and clean.
@@TexasHondaChannel I hear ya brother I have 2 05 civics setting idle atm due to winter here in Canada plus cash flow and of course I went and picked up a 04 eclipse so I'm torn on which to build first now lol.
Hey man!! Super inspiring build you got happening here. I have an 05 Pilot and will be installing the 2.5" front 2" rear lift kit once my rims come in so I can put the bigger tires on it right away. I am so happy to see that 245/75's are doable with 0 offset plus spacers with very minimal cutting. I was having a hell of a time finding any info on that because my wheels will be -5 offset (praying i don't need spacers to clear the caliper haha). I'm torn between going to 245/70's or 245/75's but I'm wondering if you think the 245's would fit without cutting with the 2.5" lift installed? 2 more quick questions for you, did you notice a significant decrease in fuel milage and power after installing the kit and 75's? And what size spacers did you put on there to clear the calipers? Looking forward to hearing from you!
Greetings friend, I just watched your video and I found it very interesting, I have a 2005 Pilot and I want to do the same, but I don't know where to buy the spacers and everything else that you used to lift your pilot, I live in Florida and I would like you to Will you help to lift my slingshot? Thanks and good luck man.
Will removing the Cadillac converter will it meet the truck sound different? As in a Good Different? I also have a lifted Honda Pilot.. Thanks Again.. And Plz "KEEP UP THE OUTSTANDING WORK" it really helps.. #Facts #YouRock
Hi there Texas Honda Channel. I have an '04 pilot. I also have a complete 2.5" spacers kit. My question is, do I need to go get the rear camber to fit or can I simply still use my OEM equipment? Please help, any advice is acceptable good or bad.
Love your videos! Just did mine with the same kit. All went well except I accidentally forgot to remove time two 10mm bolts for the abs sensor on the left rear and broke the wire. 🤦♂️
Sweet set up... just a few things where did you get the front grill from as well the roof rack please and thank you... if you can send link that’s would be amazing....
Which I forgot to.... and now my 4wd is out because I accidentally pulled my wire out when I dropped the rear driver side spring.... now I'm paying 55 bucks for a new one
I did a 2" lift on mine and put 245/70/16 tires with stock rims, and I have vibrations. I also did a subframe drop and still have the same vibration accelerating at low speed after 25 mph it goes away. I am gonna change the CV Axle next and see if that fixes the problem. If not, I will remove everything and put it back to stock. Wasted time and money.
i have 06 pilot awd, and transmission almost die on me , so be careful on the supercharger , honda transmission are not very strong, specially with the v6 motor higher mileage
Yes! I have pilot 2003 rebuild transmission on 180k miles, Drive another 50,000 miles.. I think overheated and its die again.. so my question is: maybe somebody can tell what we can do with this kind of transmissions?,to make them stronger! Send some links or videos please! And yours HONDA looks great will do the same thing on mine soon
@@pavelfedorchenko1971 the 03-04 Pilots have weak transmissions...in 05 they beefed it up and those are better. In 06 honda redesigned the trans and the 06-08 trans are excellent.
Hey James, I just installed the same 2.5 inch freedom offroad lift for my 2005 pilot. I'm planning on getting a 16x8 setup as well and was curious if you would recommend the 245/75/16 you currently have or a 255/70/16 as I originally intended? If I went 245/75 with the lift considered, do you think I would still need to cut part of the front bumper because of the taller tires? I'd appreciate any input, thanks!
I have a 2003 Honda Pilot with 139,500 og miles and really thinking of decking it out like yours I’m a Chevy guy to be honest v8 engines, but that Honda is calling me 😂 it’s just been sitting for 2 years just waiting for me to do something with it ?
I know this is a year+ old video. Found it because I'm contemplating getting a Pilot and want to install a lift kit. Excellent overview of the process. BUT DAMN - that musical interlude is HORRIBLE!!! Hope you've removed it in future videos!
This one will be raptor lined white but right now it’s rustoleum truck bed coated black then I scuffed it 2yrs later and did white rustoleum white over it. I will be raptor lining it soon as I can. It’s a 2003
Were you able to properly align the rear camber? I installed the lift with the rear camber arms and the rear arms are too long at their shortest setting they’re about 1/4” longer than the OEM arms and I end up with too much positive camber.
@@spankthemonkey3437 nah she just loves what I did to it and it’s a Honda Pilot it’s classified as a truck on our registration anyways. We have 6 people my 4 children and my wife and I so we need the room and beats a mini van
I love the way how it looks Great I have honda pilot 2007 I would like to do like yours what kínd of rigs and the size the y are and also the tires the size
Does anyone have a lead on a lift that doesn't use spacers? They're illegal in PA although not technically stated. I asked the guy while it was getting inspected and he said they don't allow anything that puts space between a suspension component and it's mounting point and that I should just get bigger springs/shocks if I want a lift.
I know it’s been five months but if you haven’t found anything go and look up Flat Out Suspension, they have adjustable coils that can achieve up to three inches of lift. Also have financing if the price makes you wanna 🤮
You made this look easy not mentioning needing a spring compressor or 2 people. Bent a prybar trying to get this to go together and damage to the axle boot is possible. The front end is an absolute nightmare to put together. I don't recommend anyone do this alone unless you're experienced with these issues.

A little turbo on a k24 in a lifted all wheel drive civic would be cool. You might could do some rally racing events. I wouldn't push an AWD civic much more than 300hp because they seem to break all the time. Plus I wouldn't do any courses that had big jumps. what ever you do good luck with it👍
Yea I’m not really into all that K life like everyone else. My setup currently can do 300whp if I turn the boost up or even more than 300whp safe with my fully built D series I built awhile back.. I’m just not wanting to or have a reason to do that. The civic as it is right now is great but could be better once I get a couple more psi but the clutch isn’t holding what power it’s making now so that’s next on the list.
