Really nice YJ! I took my top off and needed a reminder on a few points to put it back on. Your video helped a lot. Well done. And yes, pushing that tightening bar up while lining up the bracket mounting holes can be daunting. Your new top looks great.

This is so helpful! You just saved so me much time. I just bought an 87. I’m overseas and trying to find parts when I get State side so it’s hard not physically being there to look at it. Anyway, I’ve been looking for that windshield part for a week or so, just wanted to say you are correct there isn’t much out there on this top but this video was helpful.

Best Top's 2017 Pavement Ends model, for YJ, with clear rear window seems to be pretty good quality, slightly better than the the older version from '01. As a replacement, it went on super easy, I would guess it took 45-1hour with half doors and side windows and rear. Just center it and the rest flows (bend the arms to take it off and leave them that way until you are have the corners clipped in on the rear/bottoms). Got mine for $335 with free ship, from ebay or amazon. They have a coating to stop UV degradation, or slow it. Zippers are very slick, easy to start. Went on super easy in 75 degree, cloudy weather, sunny day could be a touch better, but no complaints at all. '90 YJ, stock.

You skipped the part i am struggling with haha. I have my top clipped at the windshield and buttoned to the back cross bar and i have the windows and 1 corner in but the other side is so far off i was hoping i had messed up some part of the process. Back to the drawing board for me i guess.

I can’t believe the condition of this Jeep my 93 has a 350 Chevy a 5sp and 35’s and I will have to replace sheet metal because of the rust

Now that you've had it for a couple of years, what is your overall assessment of it? Is it loud on the highway? Does it leak around the doors? I am considering the switch from an OEM YJ top to this one. Any info that you can provide would be much appreciated.

I noticed you have a rail bolted to the top on your tailgate. Is that just for looks to continue the rail line around the back? did your purchase that or use something else to make it?? I ask because I want to do the same to mine.

Awesome YJ! Just got the supertop delivered today and ready to replace the factory top on mine that starts removing itself when we get up to highway speed. Where did you get your steering wheel btw - love the look.

The screws for the upper windshield corners didnt interfere with the spreader bars sitting flush against the windshield? Mine are. How'd you work that out

How’s it hold up to rain or snow at the doors particularly around the rounded edge of the top windows? Does it leak thru when driving etc?

I’ve heard best top is the best quality but I don’t like how their rear section looks, like it’s so high

do you think the top could fit around a custom cage? seems like the top and the poles are higher than the roof line

If you would have left it in the sun for a lil while to heat up it would have stretched on it's on when you installed it
