So does the compressor come with refrigerant or do you have to charge the system to specs?

Hi P Najera, the unit must be charged to achieve the desired condenser sub-cooling.

They should of put some cool gel or a wet rag around the dryer whilst welding

Hi Danny, You’re right, when replacing filter driers in the field, you should always use a wet wrap. We included replacing the filter drier as a helpful reminder, as the filter drier should always be replaced whenever the system is opened, but because the focus of the video was replacing the condensing unit, we skipped the wet wrap. We’ll be sure to wet wrap the filter drier in any future videos.
