Thanks for doing this install video. It helped me immensely. Thankfully, my bracket had enough clearance for the license light; I guess I got lucky. The wires go right across the top edge of the plate so I wrapped them carefully and also taped the top edge of the plate so it wouldn't abrade the insulation.
Doing Mines in the Morning. Thanks for letting me see whats where Etc. This will be the 3rd bike Ive done this to, and it helps seeing where all the bolts are before hand. Great Editing and you have a instructors voice. Easy to watch. Mahalo Bro
Thanks! The turn signal removal section was just what I needed. I figured they came out like that but didn't want to break something. I installed the Yosh version.
Thanks for your reply. Ive only really had trouble with water on my 2011 z1000. Dont get me wrong, i hated the stock fender enough to get rid of it despite the spray. As they say, theres a very fine line between really cool and really stupid. Im still going to stick one on my new fireblade spray or no spray. Keep up the good work.
Well it is called a fender eliminator so it should go without saying that it decreases the amount of protection by getting rid of the hideous stock wheeler bar / fender. A longer hugger would help I suppose. All if my bikes have had a fender eliminator and I've never noticed rooster tails of dirt, grime or chain sludge.
Warning, the bike will piss water all up your back and ruin your nice leather jacket and annoy your buddy riding behind you. Im wondering if a longer hugger would stop it spraying?
My rear fairing is not sitting flush with the rear light. There is a gap in between. I tried to hook the clips on the rear lights yet still not sitting flush.
Aakash Tamang hmm maybe you have some wires, connector or something causing the fairing to not lay down like it should if you made sure it is sliding in like it's supposed to? There is not a lot of space in between some check to see if something is causing the misalignment/gap.
