The instructions shows an o-ring, but my harware did not include one. I did add a o-ring, it just reduce and softens the back and forth play in the prop.
Mine has what I would call a crazy amount of play front to back, not side to side. It does not wobble. Like 1/4 inch of sliding back and forth! That is normal?
just ordered a flo-torque 2 from propshop inc, it came in canada in 2 days, very good product, fast delivery, i will bookmark the site for sure and order again. Just a suggestion, please make more videos on how to install these on volvo xs as well, the instructions in the box are not very clear and they are general for all 1,2,3,4 torq systems.
One step you left out, there are alignment instructions regarding the two piece hub. I’m holding one in hand right now. They MUST phase properly or it will damage while torquing or motor use.
so when you put on the spacer before you put the nut on, the spacer barely touches the spines. so that is normal? seems like it should go on a little further. I am in the middle of changing props and hub kits and thats my only concern.
Is it obvious if the hub itself is bad? Mine doesn't appear broken but I wasn't sure if they actually break or just round off....i am not familiar with these styles.
I do not want to find out, but it looks like it's designed to round off the 4 corners of both sleeve sections unless the little fingers break off. Wither way it should be obvious what happened.
