In order for my locking tabs to line up, the torque is less than 55 ft-lbs as I need to back the nut out 1/8 turn to align the locking tabs with the flat on the nut.
How do you know what size prop hub kit you need I have a 2001 Bayliner Capri with a 5.0 and a Mercury lower unit? I noticed my prop very loose probably from me going through the shallow
They are not universal. It depends on what lower unit you have the and if your propeller takes a Flo-Torq Hub Kit or if it takes the pressed in type. If it has a pressed in hub it will need to go to a prop shop to be replaced.
@@ProWrenching opportunity to get a 92 Mercury 135 run Tower Powers ,frist 135 but it doesn't come with a prop so but just curious what size prop you have getting the whole motor for 275
