Likewise. Videos keep skipping that part. So assuming I'm not a freaking Jedi, what are acceptable ways to do it without also enlisting the help of the Incredible Hulk to lift it for me? I've seen as many sources say if you're gentle you can lay the washer on it's side, other sources say to never do that.
Thank you for your tips...very useful since they were not indicated in the installation manual, even in official videos of the brand right here on YT. Ironically, manufacturers are increasingly making the installation of electronic devices more difficult and delicate, instead of the other way around. The only thing that was missing from your video is what was already indicated in other comments, and that is what would be the least complicated way to raise the washing machine to the pedestal. Keep up with the good content!
Just a thought… Before you start disconnecting water lines…know where the home main shut off is… and that it works. 3:24 My valves would not shut off… I now need to replace both valves hot & cold. Just saying…..
I watched a video by different brand of washing machine. They show that 2 people are neccesary to lay the machine down then stand it up after the pedestal is attached.
After the pedestals are balanced and leveled and the machines mounted if the machines are moved even slightly will the pedestals have to be releveled and balanced again even if the floor is level
Notice that don't show putting the washer on the pedestal cuz it weighs over 200 lb and if you don't have someone that can lift even with you are you just happened to touch anywhere but the plastic Corners that pedal stool folds like a piece of shit soda can even with the light dryer pretty pathetic how much would it have been just to strengthen the inside of those pedestals in the middle to avoid destroying them and this isn't a dig at this guy's video or him himself it's a dig at Samsung appliances just to be clear
