Can't Say I'm a fan of The USB charging sockets. The fact you have an always on mini transformer in the plug sends shivers down my spine! Although if I was going to get some it would have to be MK brand but you pay a premium.

Geek Street some of them I read can catch fire apparently.i have bought and installed the exact same one in this video recently but I’m a bit paranoid about now after reading about them
If there is such a risk, why do so many companies sell it?! I see your concern though. I wonder if there is a higher risk if a device is being charged and over charged?
Does shape depends on charging speed of smartphones because you install this socket directly on the regular wires in the wall so if the wires are new does that mean that devices will be charged quicker because usb holes are more closer to the wire which gives current or is everything depending on how many A ,.Amps there you have and is usb 3.1 type C cable depending on how fast can it charge if i buy original charger from HTC will there be diference in speed because charger is difrent dimension and it is external because we put those 2 silver color conductors in socket so i ask which whould charge my smartphone faster this look simpler and elegant looking but give an asnwer what is faster?
