In this video I show you how to install a Versatube carport. The carport in this video was 20x20x7. It was the classic model. We installed this carport on existing grade, with new footings. I would make concrete my last step. If you are off a little, it is impossible to correct in dry concrete.

Seriously. I put a 29’ x 16’ together with a buddy and got a lift for free… it was still a huge pain in the ass. I’ve built things my entire life and this was definitely not “easy”. Maybe if you have an entire crew but things like this are often understated on the internet, due to needing to sound cool. It’s work, no matter how it’s done.

didn't realize they send 10 ft panels, so on the lap length wise do they recommend butyl tape for the lap?

Can the Engineered trusses from VersaTube be installed after the carport is assembled? I put up a VersaTube carport on my property and I am considering buying a few trusses to stiffen up the structure.

It looks like you got 18 sheet metal panels to finish the job. I only got 16 sheets for a 20x20x7. Did they buy extra sheets?
