Great video. I will disagree with the little HF winch like on you F525 is not a good atv winch. I'm sure it is fine for your application. My riding buddy put one on his 425 magnum as part of a super cheap build. It structurally failed the first time he got stuck. We didn't think he was stuck bad so using my atv as pull point not anchored. He was stuck a bit more and it dragged my machine with the brakes locked about a foot. When we went for a second pull, it didn't work and found the carnage.
Yikes, I’ve never had any issues with mine on my Deere and it’s an 800 pound stick in the mud when it gets stuck. I always load it up gently though, maybe the chinesium metal doesn’t like sudden loading/yanking?
@@thedoubtfultechnician8067 it wasn't sunnden yanking. I was acting as an anchor point and letting the winch do the work. We had a good laugh and I pulled him out with mine. HF did warranty it and he got his money back to put towards a Warn. On a side note, it doesn't lool like you put a fairleed on the atv. If it was mine, I'd add one. Best wishes on the ankle heeling quickly.
Just got a 89 Yamaha big bear that I have to do the exact job on. You read my mind. Thx. All that's left is a snowmobile video. Btw where is the white tray? Slacking
Old Yamahas are cool. Had an old Timberwolf 250. Really had to stir that manual transmission to keep up with the bigger machines, but it never quit! I’m trying to come up with a witty retort to your tray comment, but truth be told, you’re right- I really am slacking.
