How To Install A Yamaha Outboard Tiller Handle 

We have the exact same engine and I was struggling to install a tiller handle for a smaller obm on the 90 without the 90hp fitting kit. After seeing this video life makes sense now. Thank you and keep up the good content !

Great video. I was offered a mercury outboard that has console steering for free. It has sat outside for ages and I think its about a 1990 40hp 2 stroke. Can it be converted to tiller for reasonable cost. Is it a diy type job for a handy guy, thanks

The new style big tiller looks exactly the same but it has the rpm adjustments on the handle, should this affect anything if im mounting it to a 2 stroke

Have you ever switched lower gears and everything else over into a new lower unit casing, reason I ask is I ordered a lower casing for my 25 yam 2 stroke, and want to transfer everything over. It is cracked from previous owner. Scored myself a nice 2 stroke motor where I also put on custom decals, and repainted the motor

Eric, I just bought a 2019 4 stroke 4 hp Mercury( Tohatsu) motor. Took 30 pulls to start it, ran like crap, stalled, even oil light went on. In shop now for this under warranty. What is your opinion of this motor? Or anyone. I never had a problem with motors before. All 2 strokes thanks in advance.
