How to install AMD Radeon Graphics Card Drivers in Windows 10 for older HD cards

Hello everyone! In this short video we are going to learn how to install legacy ATI/AMD graphics card drivers for older 3000 and 4000 series of HD cards which are no longer supported in Windows 10!

For me , it worked just the first part of installing. Second part just blackscreened my pc and was only making sound like cable was disconnecting and back connecting. Anyway, thank you for this video and help

Honestly I just try windows 7. Some hardware is so old that even if you manage to get the drivers they may not work. (For old quadros and other things, just getting the driver is a success)

Hi I just ask something else I have a ati mobility radeon hd 5650 gpu card and I go to amd website download the radeon crimson the most recent one but my computer didn't use my amd gpu it uses intel one But when I go and download the catalysm control center one and restart my computer won't open it just bugged on blue screen what should I do

Hello there mate! What brand is your laptop ? With laptops, you often need to stick with OEM drivers. That being said, once you have drivers installed, www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-hd/ati-mobility-radeon-hd-5000-series/ati-mobility-radeon-hd-5650 download this, let the setup extract installation package to C:\AMD and then use the method in this video to manually update from this folder.

Hello there! So card is not recognized by task manager as ATI yet but Microsoft Basic video adapter ? Update the driver on this device following the same method as in this video, that should work

Hi I have a r9 270x 2gb. I have installed a fresh version if win 10 and while installing proprietary driver adrenaline i am getting stuck in a restart loop while ultimately leads to a BSOD. From there i have to do a system restore to resume work. My system is Amd fx 8350 Ga 78lmt usb3 r2 mobo R9 270x 2gb Can you please tell me a way out. Thanks in advance P.S. i have also tried legacy drivers catalyst like in this video, still having the same problem

i have amd 8490 hd graphic card and it have the no support for win 10 and i tried to do ur method but during installation time the catalyst stop responding and crashes it would really help me if u can tell how to fix this privately in discord or something

Hello there! Sorry to hear that you were unable to install those drivers. I'm afraid I don't offer private help, but let me ask you couple of questions in order to better understand the situation 1 - Card works and displays basic output? 2 - Does Task Manager flag any issues suggesting hardware problems? 3 - The PC you're installing this card into, is it fresh W10 install ? If not, did you use DDU to remove any prior drivers ? Let me know and hope we might be able to sort this out :)

The card work but in certain games irs showing error for driver not being there Task manager doesn't tell any problem but it shows application error for some app with 0xc000012d I didn't understand the fresh window 10 part but i have this win 10 for 2 yr and have reset it one time 6 month ago And i had Nvidia gt210 bef this card

@@ishaandeep21 Hello mate! What I meant by fresh W10 was whether it was a recently installed - so 6 months old - that's not too bad and especially if you only used 1 card. Did you try DDU(Display driver uninstaller)? So card works in one game but not in another? Bizarre!
