How to Install an IKEA Cabinet Door 

I’m having the same problem now

ive been struggling for like 40 minutes and there is no end in sight

@@sofiav7791 I figured it out and someone had to show me. Make sure you screw it in otherwise it’s going to be sticking out too far and you can’t attach the door hinge

me to.. i have been struggeling for like an hour...

@@minniemouszie154 screw in the piece that is attached to the cabinet then the hinge will click in

You click it onto the plate & you should hear a click once in place

If your door doesn't close properly, you should probably talk to an Ikea kitchen associate. I've found that they're helpful and Ikea wants your kitchen to look good.

@@KARALISinc just out of curiosity how did you fix it? I'm having the same issue where the doors slightly overlap when I close them and I have to kind of fit them in at the same time

​@@heazy9744 i made mistake on puttin doors to hinges incorrectly. I used different ikea hinges, not like those in the video ( 1:29 ), but with screws. so if you have hinges with screws, Check yourself if you are putting hinges the right way, you have to slide door hinge into the side wall hinge so the both screws are covered, one for tightening, other for spacing . hence, when you put the both hinges correctly, there is no way doors will overlap each other, because there are big gaps in between them.

After you attach the cabinet, follow the instructions included with the hinges to adjust the appropriate screws so the door is square.
