CONGRATULATIONS FOR YOUR VIDEOS, VERY CLEAR AND EXPLANATORY. But does this relay work even if I change all four arrows with LEDs on the 400? Because on the 250 it only works if two LED indicators are installed. If four LED arrows are installed, they all remain fixed. And, possibly, in the 400 which is the solution to mount four led arrows. Thank you
You can let it blink fast, and it won't damage anything but some of the programmed signal modes may not flash correctly. You can tap in the resistors that are included at no charge with the taillight. Or you can just get the relay and be squared away.
Can you please make a video on Kawasaki Ninja 400 Hazard Lights installation. Or how to install Hazard Lights on Kawasaki Ninja 400? Also please include on how to convert driving led light to strobe light on Kawasaki Ninja 400.
We got to turn some laps on it at a local race track yesterday. I think we will have to make a comparison video at the track to fully capture the differences.
My right turn signal won’t stay on if I push the switch over. But it will if I jam it over and hold it there. As soon as I let go it’ll shut off. Is this a flasher relay issue? I have a 2018 Zx6r 636
No. That sounds like tour switch is auto resetting. The relay and signals are devices that just do what the switch demands. You need to take the switch body apart and see if the resetting mechanism is damaged or caked with dirt.
The flasher relay is on an entirely separate circuit. It has nothing to do with an outlet relay. Ours replaces the OEM flasher relay so you have no more or less components on your bike.
I installed the stem mount ram mount yesterday. It work's great. The sketchy way they secured the relay in this video and their reply to your comment makes me doubt their expertise.
I am not getting current from the two free floating accessory wires, supposedly coming from the ignition switch, to operate a just installed USB charger/voltmeter, on my 2018 Ninja 400 KRT. I checked those wires with two additional voltmeters - no current. Is there a separate/dedicated fuse just for those accessory wires? Any advice would be appreciated ; ) Kawasaki Kid (who'll be 75 in two days)
@@TSTindustries THANK YOU! I know how and where to locate the MAIN fuse box, please advise the location of and access to the accessory fuse box (I've the KRT, so I expect that I might have to remove a fairing - not looking forward to that, but if I need to...) Much appreciated. Stay safe!
@@TSTindustries Found the accessory fuse box #2 behind (to the rear of) the main fuse box. Found the 5A fuse in the #2 spot and checked for continuity - it is fine. Replaced it anyway with the spare, just for the Halibut. Still not getting current from the accessory wires. BTW - maybe I'm missing something - didn't see the "white wire on one side and black-white on the other". Please advise - this is driving me nuts. THANKS! Kawasaki Kid
I think it's a must. I got to turn some laps at a local race track yesterday and was pretty impressed but not so much that I would say it's better than the R3.
Vince Sanchez well our n400 is in street trim for now and will remain this way for half this season. The most valuable comparison for guys out there would be to stack the bikes against each other in stock form. Once we convert the ninja to race trim we can do it again stacked against one of our race bikes
Similar part...different installation mode. Please see this video and if you like what you see you can follow the link in the description: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fjZM4yerQCg.html
There are so many sub-models of the Vulcan that I cannot say yes or no in regards to the part in this video. You can get a photo of the OEM relay on your bike, send it to us, and then a customer service team member will match you up with the appropriate part.
This is such a loaded question. What bike, what tail light, when does it flicker, is it constant? We need more information before we can attempt to help. A flicker is usually a loose connection.
