Kept bumping my knee on that intake just watching this .
@ChrisGlides

That’s not an issue with this. Not sure how anyone’s knees would come close at all. This is different from the ones made on the old pre M-8 models.

6’5” with a 38” inseam. My wives bike came with the same setup.

@@freebehindbars8654 this is not the same bend and set up as a 117 breather. This is a new and just came out in 2023 for the CVO only.

Lol 😂. Man. Every time. It’s just no good seeing someone’s back as they work. Plus it takes me long as it is while trying to record. But ok. You caught me again. Lol. 😂. I will buy a tripod. 🤞

Hello~ I also have a 2023 Road Glide CVO. There are three oxygen sensors in the stock muffler. Does the Vasini muffler have 3 oxygen sensor holes?
@ChrisGlides
@ChrisGlides 18 дней назад
No. All M8's / V-twins only have two sensors. I have changed lots of headers and sensors are only for the 2 chambers /front and rear cylinder heads. Bassani headers are specific to each bike. If you have a H-D you don't have 3 02 sensors. The sensor go from headers to the grey and black plugs behind the right/brake side panel.

Do you know if the head pipe from a 114 fit on the new 117 2024

Looks great!! It was written that Bassani 2-into-1 cannot be installed on the CVO, but were you able to install it without any problems?
@ChrisGlides
@ChrisGlides 8 месяцев назад
Yes. When I purchased it they were advertising a photo of the CVO with it on. It was probably removed because it’s going to be hard to remove oil stick and stick to gear oil. The rear header pipe S shape blocks it all pretty good. It also burns the right side plastic heat shield (the heat shield that keeps heat off legs. Bike works fine with it and I’m good with it

good video....but to me....I am not a big fan of the single exhaust. To each their own....thanks for the video and nice bike.

Thank you and I appreciate your opinion and comment. I have and always take into the consideration of all viewers and those who like to see what I can add to the bikes that I review and post. This exhaust recommendation can from a great young man names Aden who works in the parts department at Ft. Washington Harley at HD of DC. I have been very satisfied with its overall performance that it has provided, low maintenance and clean up, lighter weight of full system, sound quality - deep tone, growl, and output. It's not the last exhaust that I will run on it so I am open for recommendations. I am not interested in exhaust systems that are only for cosmetics such as slip-ons that do not have any performance enhancements. I would have simply left my factory mufflers on for slip-ons. Full systems are the only way to go for performance. People are wasting money on slip-ons for this model because the factory mufflers already have a removable baffle once you remove the exhaust tips. The going rate for slip-ons are $950 (plus another $800 for headers) when you can get a full system like mine with headers for $1200. single side 2:1 . Two into one systems are best for these bikes based on the generation of back pressure. Better power gains and for not having power loss due to air fuel ratio. Send me photos or yours or ideas to make cool modifications to mine at: ChrisGlides@gmail.com

Hi. I purchased at the register at advanced auto or AutoZone. But amazon all day will have various types. Its retractable and I would recommend one with a more skinny head for MC's. Certainly game changing when you can only fit fingers and something may fall.

do yuo have to get it dyno'ed again?
@ChrisGlides
@ChrisGlides 8 месяцев назад
No. But many will. I have a Bluetooth tuner that I have on the bike for now set with an option for a breather and exhaust. They are for the exhaust that I have but the tuner will have smart tune capability that will permit fine tuning. For now it’s running good. Some who will want every single HP number will dyno but for me I don’t care because it’s still a slow touring bike anyway to me vs. a ZX-14 or Hayabusa. Cruisers and Touring bikes aren’t going to push the way we really want so for me I at least go for sound and for at least a little more speed.
