FYI: I believe the orange-yellow wire (illumination) or the 12 acc (red wire) on the purchased adapter keeps ONLY the radio time in sync by keeping a constant 12volt power on. Well as long as I connect an iPhone or Android, the radio is smart to grab the time & keep it in sync. I choose this wiring path shown in the video, cause I was afraid my radio would kill my battery, possibly prompting me to manually power it off. (Possibly each time I power off the car.) Therefore, I didn't want to spend more time researching it. Moreover, the radio time always shows up incorrect upon turning off the car & turning it on after a while, maybe cause of how I wired it. It's not an issue, as I do not care about the time, when I have a watch. Just putting it out there & NO I do NOT lose my radio presents nor, settings. Just my time lol

I put the same radio in my Daughters 2005 Honda Civic. Now i can tell her she has the same radio as a Porsche 911! She would rather have the Porsche with a Honda radio I am sure.

the original offer was to trade in my 2013 Audi & have him repair it with a 2018 A4 engine for the Land Rover & then when the A4 is finished I trade him my Porsche 911 for my Audi lol
