I agree somewhat. I got lucky with my installation because I can turn on all the lights with a single light switch. No need for daisy chaining. Thanks for watching!
Is the outlet for linking them energized as soon as the first one is plugged in or does it power on when the first light is turned on? I'm asking because if I link 8 of them together am I going to have to pull the chain on every light or just the first one to turn on all of them?
@@PhillipCeriale Thanks, then I'll have to use a switch and leave them all on so I can hit the switch at the first lights plug in to power them all at once.
Still do not get complete picture of installing and linking, say 4, of these. I understand plugging in the first, pull the chain and it is on. How do you link first with next and subsequent fixtures? If you install and link the 4 and pull all 4 chains so all are on, do they all turn off when you unplug the first one in the chain, then all turn on when you plug the first back in?
This space was the garage at one time. It's kind of strange but, all the outlets mounted on the ceiling are operated with the same wall switch. Instead, I turn off what I don't need at the time - ;o) Thanks for watching!
Just bought 4 and thought running them together and the last being plugged into a outlet would be the master light to power them all with one pull of the cord ALL would light up!!!!! Wrong that a disappointment😞
