@@zacknslash3333 i never played hard again after gaming a lot during my teens. But as i tested it, it played a solid 6-8 hrs of gametime. depending on the quality of your battery, brightness adjustments, sounds, etc etc. but let's say an average of 6 hours

What are the maximum dimensions for a battery that fits? Length and height I assume 7x6.6cm but what about thickness?

I have some questions: I was looking for other baterries, and I found one that says "charging tension of 4.2v", but on the PSP says 5V on the plug. Can I use that one? I never understand about this charging tension. I have to use a lower one? Can I use a higher one? A baterry with 9cm x 7,5cm will fit?

I recommend using 3.7v battery in your PSP. For the charger, you can use a regular phone charger like android chargers. Just use micro usb to psp port adapter.

a psp 2000 would fit. even a psp 1000 battery would fit. i used to have a psp 1000 on my psp. its a lot bigger but has a higher capacity. then i switched into this mod.

I assume it's also possible to keep the old battery and connect the new one in parallel to add up their milliamp-hour capacities? Or is there any reason why I wouldn't want to keep the old one?

You can connect the old battery and the new one in parallel as long as you could fit the wires.

What is the maximum thickness of battery before it will not fit in the space where the UMD Drive was? I don’t want to do cutting plastic bs to make the battery fit. Highest capacity you could fit in the battery compartment is around 2000mah. But 2000mah is more thab enough for casual gaming

May I know the thickness of the battery you are using? The link you attached sends me to a 95mm thick. Tried one with same thickness before and it didn't fit.

Battery still running but not as good as it was 3 years ago. Brand new original or aftermarket lasts around 2-3 years max. Not bad for the price of the battery.

yes it will also work. theoretically it is 3x more than the stock battery and provided that you can get a good quality after market battery.

nice video, one question though. isnt it necessary to remove pcb from battery cell and connect it directly to original psp battery pcb? Are you using both pcbs, why?

Although there is a pcp on the battery you are going to install, The psp wont reflect the battery capacity and charging time unless you use the pcb from psp battery.

I may just be a wrong polarity solder or a poor connection/contact between the battery board and the motherboard. You might also check the PSP switch and the right flex connection since it wont charge when it is not connected properly.

yes almost the same steps. will just be a little different step in removing the home buttons bracket since psp 3000 is attached with a screw while the psp 2000 doesnt have a screw in the home button bracket

boss ano kayang problema sa tingin mo ginamit ko kasi ung battery ng electric cigarette,,, 1800 mah ok sya,,,,,ang problem 3hrs mahigit orange pa din pero pag i-non mo... 100% na sya... tapos gumamit naman ako ng battery ng Asus na cellphone kong sira 3100mah... hindi naman kayang icharge hanggang 50 lang pero charging complete nakalagay...parehas naman Li-ON ung mga battery na un... iba din ang chipset na gamit ko galing sa PSP Slim version battery mas mahaba kesa jan...class A ung may tatak na sony..pero made in china....any ideas sir?....thanks,,,,at ung mga battery hindi po fake ah....galing sa ASUS na phone ko at ung isa sa E-Cigarette ng pinsan hindi ko sila pinagsama separate ung pagtesting ko sa kanila at kinompare ang experience.....habang nagcharcharge dun sa E-cigarette battery..randam ko ung normal na nagiinit ung battery at charger ng PSP...pinagtataka ko lang bakit hindi mafullcharge....

PALAGAY KO DAHIL MAY PROGRAM YANG BMS BOARD NG PSP na naka design lang sa 1200 mah , since pinalitan mo ito ng mas mataas na capacity hindi nya talaga mapupuno yan .
