Great tutorial Swiiifty. I would like to add two important things. 1st before starting Joystick Gremlin, configure vJoy the same as it is explained on JoystickGremlin Overview page; 2nd after you have set up curves as in this tutorial, turn on vJoystick mappings with game pad icon in left-upper corner of the screen (not mentioned in the video) and test if it works in Game Controllers Properties in Windows. Then proceed with starting the Elite Dangerous and mapping as shown in the video. Happy flying commander!
Good tutorial, I wish there was a way to copy curves from one axis to another once you had set one up. I also wish it showed the deadzones, but w/e at least it has all the functionality, unlike T.A.R.G.E.T. (Crap) AND JoyStickCurves (No Deadzones).
Y is up and down X is roll :) I can't seem to get my curves right for my T16000m HOTAS system. Would you happen to have a Gremlin profile to share? Thanks.
@@Maxxermaximus Not to mention, when using T.A.R.G.E.T., you have to sacrifice control axes. t.16000M FCS HOTAS has 9 axes between it, and TARGET can't handle that many. You're required to turn off a few of them for the convenience of having them emulated as a single input device. Unacceptable in my eyes. I use 8 of the 9 axes in normal play in Elite. The only one I _don't_ use is the throttle slider on the stick.
