How To Install Dual USB Fast Charger Socket on Honda Ruckus With and Without Drill Bit Saw 

I installed one a week ago and it fucked the battery. If you ever accidentally leave it on for even just a little bit.. the capacity is so shit on these small batteries you can easily drain the battery in no time. Discharge the battery too much with certain chemical makeup batteries and it's irreparable. My electric start is so weak now never works because the battery doesn't have enough charge. Also you should start with the ground first. Also if you have a dirt cheap ass battery it might not even be able to keep up with the amperage you are pulling from the USB port.

Anytime you disconnect the battery you're always supposed to disconnect the negative terminal FIRST. Never disconnect the positive terminal first because that's how you can cause electrical short circuits that can damage your ECM. So it's always negative first, positive second and then when you want to reconnect them you do the negative LAST. The negative terminal is always the FIRST to be disconnected and LAST to be connected. PLUS you must always reset your ECM anytime you disconnect the battery after you're done otherwise you can have problems later on. Resetting the ECM is easy. There's youtube videos showing how it's done. Just do a search for ' reset ECM honda ruckus '

You should hide that cable for the tracker under the cover… would free up a usb port too!

Do you have warranty on the battery, just incase something goes wrong with it ,I bought one of Amazon but I don't remember about their warranty, all tho I bought an older version for my grom like 5 or 6 years I go I haven't had any problems with it , even I didn't start the bike for like 2 years when I used it started right up , that's why I bought another for my ruckus but I noticed it has a different look.

Thanks Will! Did you ever consider splicing into the headlight wires so all you need to do is turn the key off to shut off the USB. Your way looks a bit easier though.
