Oh they’re the worst lol honestly I feel like the loctite helps.. I’ve torqued down header bolts before without using loctite and they’ve vibrated off.. but then again it’s probably me riding it hard lol
So I guess you didn't swap out the header copper gaskets? If they leak from already haven been torqued down by the old header the ticking sound will make you think its a valve adjustment but its not, its those copper gaskets they must be torqued down evenly to spec so that they crush flat and don't leak, if you don't torque them you can burn the gaskets and have a leak, I think they are just over $10 each.😮
Now that I think about it. I definitely did not lol but good to know now! I’m going to have to get myself a new set of gaskets lol thanks for the info!
