For windows-security issues or some other antivirus it happen cuz paranoiac and interfere with the update downloads and installation.
other then that UI need Microsoft certificate and cost 500$ aka scamming ppl as thy do all time lol

I tried but my windows 11 says that I need an app to install and opens the Microsoft store. Tried a Microsoft installer fix on you tube but doesn't work:(

Yeahh we change that now all you have just click the Green Button it will do the job

Currently this seems to be not working. Setting the instance path is not possible, since the [...] are missing. And the green button [the game localizator assistant] can't find the game while it is running.

Above green button there is smol icon Pi so hold CTRL and click at Pi icon that should make (...) appear

I thought the Pi meant something, and clicked it a few times with no results. I'll give CTRL a try. Thanks. I'll let you know my results.

@@abiudjoseph6136 yeah hold CTRL and I at Pi nothing will happen it just wil allowe you add game pathh manually and use dots not just green button

The app seems to have some broken links. Main menu - shipyard - Active instance: ED_Odissey I don't have Odyssey, and cannot change this selection. This may not be the main problem, since the app seems to be working, but I still have no change in ED. Somewhere an address pointer is broken.

Victory! After lots of experimenting, Setting the path in "settings" to elite-dangerous-odyssey-64 is a must, even though I don't own Odyssey. This was the confusion. Having a path set to only elite-dangerous-64 was a no-go. Then reset "Game:" in the lower left hand corner to "Steam (Odyssey & Horizons (live)) From there chose the desired theme hit "Apply Theme" and it worked. Thanks 4 your help Commander.

It's for odyssey and you can open UI search for it it called cupcake

I know the program is open source and all but, it is really shady that it doesn't let you choose where to install it. Some other people also mention that EDHM was flagged as trojan so I decided not to use this tool- great job and all but, I wouldn't even trust my big brother if he wanted to install something on my pc, how could I trust you? I don't even know if I can even browse wherever this thing put its data- or if it will even show up on "add/remove programs" bar. Maybe a more transparent approach would be much fitting especially considering this program has been tailored for years on end.

1-You don't have to trust me 2- app install only where it should be to work perfectly if you don't know how thing work do not talk 3- I have explained beofre about fake warning from windows defender and avast it's come because we don't have Certificate that Microsoft ask for 400$ and we offer this app for free so, can you imagine we work and make it. For. You free to some idoits have no idea how apps work
