The only thing I would say, and not to correct you… but newbies taking on a new home project should maybe not take on pre-manufactured tongue and groove flooring. It may seem easy and something any DIYer could do… but minor issues arise that could increase the inflated costs. Albeit, it’s a worthwhile investment…. some may not be prepared for the cost of potential waste. ❤️
Why wouldn't you apply the glue into the groove? What's the whole point of only applying it to the bottom part of the groove? Won't it make the bond weaker?
I was wondering this too. The flooring manufacturer of my flooring recommended it to be applied inside the grave. They also recommended the tongue to be laid out and not the groove part
