@@spencercolgan Thanks Spencer - They helped massively. Turned out I had a vinyl to hang today - it looked like a woven grass. Lots of double cuts and a couple of alcoves that will be next to the bed - just little boxes really. Tested my patience! Looked pretty good at the end of the day but I'm wondering if I should have heated or cut my outside corners as they refused to lie flat. Client was happy so it's all good, I just wasn't 100% about the job! flic.kr/p/2kguqeA

Yes es sir! The corner was so screwed up that I had no choice. I had to flip it and so another double cut. Was a lot of work.

i hang wallpaper, not tried grasscloth but i would normally always line up that second strip then trim off excess in corner. Also with that amount of "torque" and then fixing it by overlapping and splicing to get the next sheet to work, the horizontal lines from "torqued" sheet to new sheet will be off.. hmm

Here’s another idea that Phillips Jeffries just shared with me: Cut the outside corner edge at a 45 degree to minimize the potential for damage. I thought that was interesting as well!

This is a grasscloth. This is not faux grasscloth. You probably needed sleep when you watched this…please watch it again.
