I just had mine installed today. I love the Pentair app. I can control it from my living room. It is soooooo much better than the touch screen. So far, so good!
Thank you for the informative video. If possible, it would be huge help if you go over IO/relay board wiring. Installation Manual is very weak on details.
@@ePoolSupply thank you. Seems like the wiring diagram or the app is not accurate. We have been trying to figure out booster pump (220v) wiring with IO board for couple of days now without any success (16 amp relay side).
Great pump, bes5 on the marketas dar as perfomance low & hi speeds. The I/O board is intended for a single body of water. It does not control actuators!
I own a pool biz in SoCal. I have a disconnect in my mind about how I would control all my customers’ pumps. Runtime, speed, etc… I can’t hook up to everybody’s Wi-Fi. Some customers would feel very uncomfortable with that. Do we have a solution for that? Thank you.
You don’t need to hook up to their Wi-Fi. As a pool Pro. You download the Pentair Pro app. Then you can press the connect button on the pump and control the pump via Bluetooth when on site. Pretty simple and great feature 🤙
I love my new IntelliFlo3 pump. I will add the I/O relay control board. If I understand correctly, closing the contact on a designated relay input would allow me to set the speed of the pump according to one of the external programs. Then once the external relay is inactive, the pump will resume the speed according to the automation schedule, correct?
Depends on your setup. every pool is different and may require more relays to hook up more equipment. Just depends on what you are trying to accomplish but to answer the question yes these pumps provide a base form of automation so it's basically like having an IntelliConnect built into the pump as opposed to having it installed on the wall. Hope this helps!
I have the 011075 model with no board. But want to purchase just the IO board to convert it to essentially a 011076 model. Do you know where or how to get just the IO board? I can’t find a part number through Pentair anywhere.
@@ePoolSupply can you please do a video on how to wire the pump directly to the intellicenter??? Or pls send a link? We have large systems with bubblers etc and need a much bigger system. Much appreciated, sir! Thank you so much.
@@ePoolSupply According to Pentair, the I/O board can be added to the 011075 pump. The part number is 356365z. Trying to find one could prove difficult.
