try doing the basic installation first without packages, and then add them later. Are you providing enough disk space? instead of 20gb try 40 or 50

I can only do a 32 bit even though i installed the 64 its not in the drop down box even if i make it with the 32 i cant go into settings and choose the 64 either

you should be downloading the bare metal ISO file, it may look like a zip depending on the software you have installed, but check the file extension for ".ISO"
