Nice video ! It makes bringing the boat to the water easier especially when you can't find parking close to the water..

Yup, that's the whole point for this setup. So much easier for me to launch my boat and so much easier to pull the boat up at the beach.

thank you for the video, this is helpful, especially showing the use of the silicone and demonstrating how easy it is to lift the leg. For those following this video, make sure you leave clearance for the wheels to not brush against the tubes when lifting into the up position (wheels should face outward from the leg when installed to maximize stability when moving boat around).

I have the same boat and probably same motor (4hp) and did consider the Seamax you installed. I really liked the apparent ease in lowering the wheels into or raising out of the water. I ended up going with another type (Bris) for half the price but mainly because I did not like the large wheels (14 " vs 10"). After three years, it's a decision I still somewhat regret as I find it's such a pain to get the wheels out of the water while underway or getting the wheels down coming back to shore. Your installation is the way to go.

Yes, I did a lot of research before I got this Seamax system. I've seen many other systems and not practical for my need. I want to extend longer or shorter whenever and whatever I wanted in any situation. Another thing is, with this system I can easy to engage or retract the wheels. This is the best system setup for launching a boat so far. (In My Opinion)

I heard that pin been sliding out for people, they need to improve design

What pin are you talking about? The wheels lock pin or the shaft lock pins. For me, I don't have any issues about pins falling out on me ever.

do you need to socket? or a wrench is good enough, also what torque you set?

Only problem would be when you fold the bait down those bracket might puncher the bait tho hmm

No problem, mine still operated normal. Everything still works! There are no sharp edges.

Yes

When the wheels are up in the water, do you have full range of motion on turning your outboard or does the motor bump into the wheels on sharp turns?
@Visual_Global
@Visual_Global Год назад
Nope! plenty room to do sharp turn just fine. With those Seamax wheel systems, you can unlock the pin and switch the wheel inward or outward whenever you like. I did a lot of research on many different type of lauching wheels before I settled on Seamax.

You'll notice in the final scene he's switched the wheels around so they are on the outside of the bracket so he has more motor room.
