How to Install lowering Springs on a BMW F15 X5

Yeah I’m thinking to lower my car as well. But my car does have JB4, Charge pipe, M Power kit and M performance exhaust and it’s much quicker now plus I installed the gas paddle controller it doesn’t have turbo lug anymore and I also installed AEF stage 2 air intake that’s one of the best intakes because BMS just filter it’s sucks.

Was it because you weren't happy with the stance from the original H&Rs? I did notice from your other video when you installed your new wheels, the X5 seemed lower. :)

That's why I wanted to be able to raise and lower it

The link needs adjusting to make it go lower. It should level itself out after.

They are quite safe, it also have a locking pin. This is not the cheap ones

Like I said if you have air suspension in the rear I would not recommend it.

If you can find links only. If ita 2014 the ride will be shifty. 2015 and up rides fine

@@FATmods white limits your wheel.color Paint them.white to match be dope to. I pick up a 1 owner x6 Monday 2012 id buy the wheels if u do get new set that 5 spoke is classic. I'm a form wheel fan personally especially on already nice rides like today's Bmw s. I'll be putting black 20s on the x6 at of month Gloss blk one y spokes they fit the funky look of the x6. Lowered on some 20s there's no car that looks even close that nice video best luck to ya in future vids

@@FATmods it's the main softball family trip ride so like a little more tire for comfort u know. I go with 20s What s your opinion on tire size for the x6 it's a wide girl. Should straight up or or off set What s your thoughts on tire size with 20s tho thnx my dude

Yes I would. If you have a 15 and up with air I would reccomend, just not the 14

You lower the air with the lowering links and the air bags adjust to the height of the links. You cou get someone to program it but if its 2015 and up it will adjust itself

Like I said in other videos if your car is 2014 do not lower it because you will run into issues.

If you have 2015 and up it will adjust itself. If 2014 you have to get someone to program it, that's why I dont recommend it for the 2014.

Adjust the end links to make them longer and take it for a ride. Clear the code before if you can

They saying my air compressor is no good cause my car won’t lift what you think can this happen by install the links it’s been a week and a half and car won’t lift in the back

My 20 14 was like that. U might need software update or find a bmw specialist NOT the dealer to program the height like I did.

@@FATmods i have f15 50i 2014. want to do same you with H&R springs. it have 2 springs on front and airbag on the rear. it this ok? i listen my friend say man need code for rear airbag.

Don't know what code he talking about. A bmw mechanic program mine because the first gen could not recognize the height. The first gen rode Luke crap and bounced around like crazy. The lci recognized and adjusted itself. I wouldn't recommend it but maybe you might have better luck.
