The fact that this video have 37 seconds and goes straight to the point, shows that learning new things oscilates between a short and a long period of time because of the source you have chosen.

Thanks for this. I usually know how to install mods, but for some reason for this game the mod I was inserting was not working. I then changed the naming of the folder to "~mods" and it worked! I guess writing in CAPS makes the mods not compatible with this game.

I have tried everything and mods just wont work for me. -dx11 - dx12 hair mods dynamic resolution. I just tried troubleshooting for 4 hours straight and nothing. Would creating shortcut folders cause some sort of duplicate error. I followed these videos to the t watched them 5 times.

I have Windows 11 and for some reason it isn't letting me unpack the files or anything. The icon is just a couple of books bundled together and just putting the files into the Pak folder of FF7R isn't working . I do not know how else to extract these files.

Huh? Just like that? I am used to having to put up with installing a mod loader on some of my games to get the mods to work. But this sounds like a much easier process than I expected. I should definitely try this out!

I don't have a powerful graphic video card (my is AMD RX 580 8GB OC); thus, I wonder if I can run this game. By the way, my PC has the following specs: - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X - MSI Radeon RX 580 8GB OC GPU - Gigabyte X570 AORUS Elite motherboard - TEAMGROUP T-Create Classic 10L DDR4 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) 2666MHz And by the way, I can run comfortably FFXIV Online. What about mods that don't come as a clean pak file? The short hair mod is a bunch of files. Some "ib", "VB", and an "ini" file. I'll try putting everything into the "~mods" folder.

Those require a 3dmigoto base mod for them to function.

For future reference if you haven’t found out already if it’s a steam game you can go to properties and browse local files, that’ll take you to the file destination
