I missed the part of how you decided where to position the mounting plate? Did you measure and mark, or did you lift the microwave up and mark the location? Thank you!

Next time you should try drilling half way through for your power cord, then going up top and drilling downwards to finish it off. I also recommend putting a grommet, it makes a lot cleaner job.

You didn't show how the bracket placement was found and you wrecked the cabinet finish. Won't be following.

Did not show putting the template on the wall. To to layout lines and for drilling.

What's the point of using the supplied molly anchors if your able to drill into wall studs? Seems unnecessary and redundant.

As a former installer i can answer that for you. The new microwave comes with a template to mark you hole placement.

Jesus Christ the whole point of me watching this video is to figure out how to set up the alignment for the top bolts and they didn't even show you how to do it I'd like to thank the technician who offered up his opinion and explain this process for me
@Leolioness44
@Leolioness44 6 лет назад
@@jason8507 I had a template but it had holes in it, so it was not exactly precise. If you do not have a template to tape on the back wall or on the upper cabinet you can make your own template by taking measurements from the corner and the front of the microwave as to the exact location of your bolts. Make the holes bigger and just make sure that your screws have washers to cover the hole and provide support. I also cut a piece of wood that fits between the cabinet and the microwave so that the microwave metal does not get damaged by pulling up it makes it more of a flush mount
@Dlindner87
@Dlindner87 4 года назад
@@jason8507 exactly, that is why I watched this video and the just gloss over that. Thumbs down!

Its a simple job, just read the instructions that came with the microwave carefully and position/drill the drilling templates and mount like shown in this video. Take your time and you'll be ok.

I'm hitting a cement after drywall and bolt cannot fit through. Also no stud. Can I use several drywall screw bolts? Will the strength of the screws increase with each added screws used?
