This helps a lot! Thank you. The OEM switch I got from 4Runner Lifestyle did not have an online fuse in the power. However, the power would be coming from a relay. Should I put an inline fuse on the power from the switch?

Yes, using an in-line fuse to the switch is recommended. It provides additional protection by interrupting the circuit in case of a short circuit or overcurrent, helping prevent damage to the switch and other components in the system, and reducing risk of fire. The relay helps control the current but doesn’t offer protection by itself, so a fuse to the accessory and a fuse to the switch are both recommended.

If I wanted my raptor lights to turn on with the car but still have a on and off switch, would I tap the power wire of the lights to a fuse and then break the circuit with the power from the switch?

If you want a switch, I would install a relay, then the switch to the relay wiring harness. Although the amp draw of raptor lights is very low, a relay helps reduce the risk of fire or melted switches in the event of over current. It’s true there would be some protection with a fuse, but I’d feel safer with a relay anytime a switch is installed.

If I have a blue wire, will it set aside the same as your yellow wire?

Unfortunately, different switch manufacturers use different color wires, so it can be difficult to tell. The wiring harness should connect to the back of the switch in the same orientation though, so you can line up the wires in the same order and see if your blue corresponds to my yellow. Hope that helps!
