Success!! I was able to change the password for "system" and also for "sys" and logged in with both profiles successfully! THANK YOU Ritman for this video! I had to make a few changes here and there on my end, but all is good AND accessing the db via SQL Developer!! NOW on to installing Informatica 10.4. Thank you again! Steve

I am getting error in typical installation as [ins-35179] current available memory is less then the required available memory (2424mb) For creating the database. [Ins-35075] a database instance with the specified identifier already exist
While installing, the windows defender pop-up is asking to enable access over public connections do we need to approve that. I cancelled it 2 times and its showing that the oracle net configuration assistant and oracle database configuration installation had failed. Can anyone help?

Please check oracle server is running in windows services, you can create manaul connectio using basic type, somecaes sql developer won't be able to detect it with multiple reasons

@@Ritman85 can we use SQL PLUS instead of SQL DEVELOPER...If yes I am trying to connect but it showing username/password is incorrect, But I am using the same credentials as I am in sql developer
Ritman... hello again. I was able to successfully install 19C. When going to the url to log in, I input "system" and attempted my password and does not work. I went to a random pw generator to create a 15 character password because I got an error when I tried "orcl" as a password. I have a copy of the password so I did not lose it. I am still getting the message that I have "Invalid Database Credentials". I have closed the page and tried twice to log in with no success. Is there any way to go into Oracle to change the password? Thank you in advance. Steve

Hello my name is Steve writing from Colorado in the States. Do you answer questions on here? I was able to download, extracted the files, double clicked and same issue, not running. So I changed the name of the folder numerous times, no capital, no underscore, then an underscore and now just named "oracle" and still does not install. Suggestions? Thank you in advance! Steve
@@Ritman85 Thank you VERY much for the response. When I downloaded onto this machine, I accidentally double clicked on the download. Then I had TWO versions downloading. When that happened, it put a (1) and (2) at the end of the file. I grabbed the first one and when I tried to install, it did not recognize the file with the (1) at the end, so it stopped. I took off the (1) and it worked fine. Thanks again!!
I am back Ritman85!! I had errors on the last 19c download, went to 21c, then to 11g, now I am back trying 19c again... this time with no errors. I hope it works this time. Thank you! Steve
@Ritman... Steve here, hello again. First of all, thank you for the great video and your response to my comment. I was able to successfully install Oracle 19c and SQL Developer on my machine from YOUR video. I was UNABLE to find an Informatica course that YOU teach so I went to NIC IT Academy to attempt to install Informatica 10.4 on my machine. In their video, they go through and ask to create a user "hr" and "core" as a source and target database in Oracle. I am UNABLE to do that getting ORA-12505 errors and running into problem after problem. SO... after talking to a DBA friend of mine, I have two questions for you. ONE, do you have a video where YOU teach how to install SQL Server Management Studio and configure it for Informatica, AND/OR, do YOU have any kind of video teaching us how to install Informatica 10.4 AFTER we install Oracle 19c? In all honesty, I prefer to go with an Informatica video that YOU teach after installing Oracle 19c from, again, a video from YOU. I am frustrated at this, mainly trying to create new users in Oracle and I am needing to get to Informatica on my machine working with Oracle, or SSMS if possible. Any help would be much appreciated. I would suggest go with oracle 11g, it's lightweight, I have created video for it, it's not available on download page of.oracle however I have put my own blog link in video comment which has direct link for download 11g.
